Blessed Carlo Acutis: A Modern Saint for Today’s Times

Carlo Acutis (1991–2006) was an Italian teenager whose short but intense life became an inspiration for young people around the world. Although he grew up in the digital age, his heart belonged to God – he attended Mass every day, prayed the rosary, and adored the Eucharist.

He was also a gifted computer enthusiast and created a website documenting eucharistic miracles. Despite his young age, he lived a deep spiritual life and offered his suffering (he died of leukemia at the age of 15) for the Church.

In 2020, he was declared blessed and today is a model for youth, programmers, and all those seeking a way to faith amid the modern world.
