A program full of joy and discovery
Children and adults could try out a variety of stations – some echoed with a biblical story, while others had tasks to bring it to life. Many children puzzled over how to defeat Goliath – though this time only with foam balls. There was no shortage of popular face painting, braiding, crafting, and painting, nor games like disc golf or croquet. The youngest enjoyed the giant bouncing castle.
Great interest was also sparked by the opportunity to light a candle and write a wish or prayer – a small pause in the midst of a colorful day.
Theater, music, and dance
The cultural program featured fairy tales from the Almost Theater Company and the troupe I Am That, alternating with concerts. The audience was delighted by singer-songwriter Ota Faldyna, the band Christian Brotherhood, and to cap it all off, the atmosphere was lifted by the band Trinity Worship Band. This year's festival was also enriched by the performance of dancers with biblical dances, in which visitors could participate.
A shared day full of peace
God's Day demonstrated that even within a colorful and rich program, it is possible to create a community full of peace, joy, and mutual encounters. In addition to the organizing Christian Brotherhood and the Pastoral Center at the České Budějovice Diocese, churches Path of Life and Brotherhood Church also contributed to its realization.
