On Saturday, August 9th, the XI. folk festival Sněžení in Třeboň and the pilgrimage to Sněženka with a request or thanksgiving intention will take place in the village of Jílovice near Třeboň.
The pilgrimage begins at 10 a.m., when we will set out together from St. Jacob's church in the village of Jílovice. The length of the pilgrimage route is 11 kilometers, and you can join in the village of Olešnice at the church at 1 p.m. Then we will go to the icon of Our Lady of Sněžná, where a holy mass will be held.
The motto of this year's pilgrimage is "Peace be with you" John 20/19. The return back to the village of Jílovice can be individually arranged.
At 6:30 p.m., the micro-festival Sněžení follows, which will take place at the pub U Tomášků in the village square.
