Open your heart and walk through the gate of hope - a renewal for children.

At the beginning of our program, the children reflected on whom or what it is good to open their hearts to and what not. Then they wrote down their thoughts on paper, from which they created a heart that someone else took home at the very end. The children were able to open their hearts for others and for God, but ultimately they were able to give away their "hearts" as well.

On Saturday, we continued to deepen the theme through several activities. The children pantomimed some emotions, thought about the good qualities of a friend, and during sports disciplines, they spent their energy and recharged for the next topic. And that was the gate of hope. It was not difficult for the children to understand what a person can go through in their life and what they might experience. It turned out that one gate is important for the children, the gate to the heavenly kingdom. We agreed that on the way to this gate, it is important to involve all parts of our body – mind, hands, feet, and heart. In groups, the children solved several riddles on the theme of hope, then competed in various sports disciplines, further created their gate of hope using materials from Franz Kett, and listened to a story from the book of the Little Prince. In the end, we delivered everything in a joint prayer.

The program passed very quickly, and so on Sunday, after a good lunch, we set off again to our homes.
